Autumn in December?

Striped Shirt: Thrifted
Green Tank underneath: Old Navy
Skirt: Forever 21
Shoes: Kohl's (Mudd)
Bird Cage Necklace: Forever 21
Beret: Forever 21

So today has been unusually warm for a December day. A light jacket was all that was really needed to walk around campus. I admit, it is less abrasive to walk to classes in this type of weather, but I also kind of wish it would snow again. The snow is all melted, save for a few piles of disgusting, dirty snow, plus everything is just wet. I find it to be unpleasant to look at, and would just rather there be a new coating of fresh, white snow.

Oh, and see those adorable brown Mary-Janes I'm wearing in the top photo? Yeah, they broke today. The sole completely tore off! And completely randomly too. They were fine all day, then as I got up to leave Art History class, I tripped over the flopping sole. So I trudged awkwardly back to the dorm to change shoes, and as I did so, the sole ripped in half. -__- So now I can't even try to glue it back on. These shoes are dead. *sobs*

I know that was a completely boring and probably irrelevant story, but it is currently after midnight (12:19), and I cannot think of anything interesting or philosophical to wright. lol Therefore, I shall end here and try to get some sleep. Fare thee well, Interwebs!

Autumn is Ending

I made a video with this outfit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78Y1DGHS-W4

Well, autumn, my favorite season, is officially coming to a close (says the piles of snow outside). So to commemorate another bittersweet autumn ending, I am uploading these fall photos. They were taken at the Algonquin Mill Festival this past October. Going to this autumn festival has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. It is by far one of my favorite traditions. I love the countryside and all the old fashioned crafts and food.
(The car photos were demanded by my dad. lol He just wanted the pictures of the cars. :p I was just an excuse to get them.)

Now, despite the fact that I love autumn dearly, I am very ready for the Christmas season. (Already started with the Christmas carols. ;) haha) Thanksgiving is this Thursday, and the next day marks another year of Black Friday antics! I'm really excited!
October through December marks my favorite part of the year~! We have my favorite season and BOTH my favorite holidays! I just get so giddy!

Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, somebody in the 12:30 Fabrics class dropped, so I nabbed their spot! I'm so happy! That means I don't have to go to evening classes FOUR days a week. Instead, just Monday and Wednesday. What can I say guys? It has been an amazing day!
So glad I got out of the funk from my last entry and was able to post something positive!
